If you want to find one and be able to fly it, probably the first step would be to join your local flying club and the Academy of Model Aeronautics. Your local club can give you good advice where as hobby shop advice tends to be biased since they are interested in making a sale. Beginner RC planes are not normally shaped like passenger jets since this would make them difficult to fly. However, if you are an experienced flyer you might be able to fly one. Club members can also help you learn to fly and advance to the plane you want. You might also want to try out or buy a computer model flight simulator before you buy. These let you change around the type of planes so that you can experience how difficult they are to fly. For more info, check out my two source articles.
