Question about model airplane kits, thinking about beginning to build kits.?
Well i am 14 years old and i am currently thinking about building model airplane kits. a few questions i have are what companies i should consider buying from… If there are certain kits a beginner like me should be looking for… and if i should buy glue together kits or snap together kits, I'm thinking glue together, because snap together sounds much to easy and not as much of a time hog… and lastly if there are other kits to build beside snap together and glues together… oh and i am not interested in RC, i want a plane i can build and put on a stand to revel in it's majestic beauty lol… well your help would very much be appreciated…
What type of aircraft are you interested in? WW II, modern jet, regular aviation? Whatever you're interest, I'm sure there's a kit for it!
If you're a beginner, you'll want to get a lower skill kit, to break yourself in on. I myself am partial to Japanese kits. They seem to have better detail and fit together nicer than the American ones I've built.
HOWEVER, it looks like Revell has a lot more beginner kits than the Japanese produce

Those two searches are for skill levels one and two, very beginner. There are kits on up to level 5, but I don't think you want to try those for a first go.
